Great laptop. Christmas gift to my son, and he told me it's more than he needs, as he's watching a video, while uploading character specs to a DnD website, while he's playing a game. Excellent for teens at a great price
cheap and works great. list of reasons why this deserves 5 stars.1. looks cool. it looks like carbon fiber.2. it's really fast. don't know if it's because of the 16 gigs of ram or the 4 core processor but it's really quick.3. the price. this cost a little more than a notebook and you get a lot for it.4. all the connections i needed. . hdmi for a second monitor , high speed 3.0 usb's to run my interface and a 3.0 usb-c.5. the hotface usb hard disc and power hub are really handy. thanks for the great deal
I'm obsessed with this laptop. Excellent laptop! The start-up process was easy. The keyboard responded well, except there was no backlight on the keyboard. Because of this, I had to return it. Await for my refund. Hopefully, I can get another one with backlight and everything else aside from this laptop, and the deal was truly an awesome deal.
Reset PC, Switch out of S Mode, Do Not Install McAfee. Windows S Mode and McAfee are glitchy performance killers and restrictive applications. Switching out of Win 11 S mode should be a straight forward process but it just does not work as it should, along with McAfee installed, whether you want it or not. McAfee acts like a worm virus, intrusively imbedding itself deep into system architecture instead of being a gate keeper like other anti-virus apps. Windows S Mode dose not allow you to install and run any app that is not Microsoft verified and found on the Microsoft Store. In S Mode, you cannot install and run any browser other than MS Edge or Bing. There is an app within the MS Store to switch out of S mode but it will not work because, I suspect, of the bloated software that launches when you first turn on and set up this laptop. Switching out of S Mode is permanent. All the advise and direction I found to get this switch to work had failed. Lots of frustrated people out there with the same issue. I finally got MS Support on the phone and they told me this is a very common problem with this product and the only way to resolve it was to reset the PC. A total reset, wiping the OS and all files you may have added. No big deal as this is a new PC and I did not transfer anything from my old PC. After the PC was reset, I was able to switch out of S mode so that I now have Win 11 Home instead of Win 11S Home. At the same time, a McAfee install popup was automatically prompted so I could select Do Not Install. This was all a bit of a pain but other than that, this laptop is not so bad. The display colors are not as vibrant as I hoped but with a resolution of only 1365 x 768, I should have expected that. However, the graphics display very well on a connected higher resolution monitor and it handles steaming video from Amazon Prime Video beautifully. I hope this information can help someone avoid the frustration of dealing with what was intentionally sold as a very restrictive operating environment. Getting rid of S Mode and McAfee gives you back unrestricted use of your laptop. One more annoying detail is that, by default, this operating environment is set to save everything to the MS cloud. The default storage of Document, Downloads, Pictures, etcetera, are all MS cloud folders which is where every file is stored unless you go through a few more clicks to store the files on your local laptop drive. By default, initially you cannot even boot up this laptop without entering your MS PIN to log onto your laptop, and thereby logging into your MS account at the same time. I found this a bit presumptuous that MS thought this was a good idea. Perhaps good for their own marketing efforts though, as some bot scans your files for things you do in order to tailor marketing ad pushes to you personally, but I digress. If you do not want Big Brother holding on to all your personal, professional, private, or other data, then you need to go in to system settings and turn off the MS log in PIN. Doing so allows you to boot up your laptop to your local drive account only. You can always log in and log out of your MS account if and when you choose at any time. Of course, you can even turn off your own laptop log in password so it just simply turns on. without a password. Your choice, as it should be.
Perfect Laptop for streaming and working. The media could not be loaded. My new HP Streaming Laptop has completely redefined my working experience. Its lightweight and portable, making it easy to take with me wherever I go. If you are looking for a reliable, stylish, and high-performance laptop, look no further. This HP beauty is a gamer-changer.
Defective on day one of setup; edit: returned. Mine just came in yesterday and I have started the process of setting it up today (only 2 days); I’ve downloaded Google Chrome and a reputable subscription based VPN app (S mode was deactivated for the purpose of downloading Chrome). After downloading those two, I set up 2 administrator users and one standard user. In the process of setting up the other administrator user: the laptop crashed and the screen turned black. I’ve tried hard resetting and am leaving it to charge overnight. My intended use was for education for when I’m not at home (I have a desktop and obviously no one is going to bring a whole tower to every class they go to) so I wasn’t planning to use anything fancy — word and chrome. In terms of performance before it crashed:1) CPU was at 100% and was still slow when opening up apps (I wasn’t far from my main mesh router and my actual desktop works fine so can’t be internet problem)2) It made me do a recovery startup when I first unpackaged and logged into my microsoft acccount and the startup took about 20 minutes3) Breeze it up — it felt warm on the bottom after an hourThinking about returning it if the laptop still doesn’t turn on (I’ve tried 2 different outlets in 2 different rooms — [wall plug] and [my extender that has anker charger and an air purifier plugged in]) tmr afternoon).Edit: I’m returning it and getting a refund; had it plugged in for a couple of days now and have been attempting to turn it on daily — no success; laptop still does not turn on
Cant play roblox, cheap but powerful pc. I recently purchased this HP Stream 14" HD BrightView Laptop. I was disappointed with its performance. I think it's better to spend a little more money and get a better computer. You cant even play simple games like roblox, the material feels cheap and looks cheap. The resolution is bad, but for just work it's pretty powerful. Just make sure to turn off S mode. I wouldn't buy this if I were you. Unless its strictly for work. I also suggest getting a refurbished Mac air 2013 , old but runs better and looks better than this.
great little laptop. Ive always had a desktop. when the hurricane took my house i needed something to be able to send the documents to the insurance and take care of all the paperwork. I had no idea the difference between my desktop and a laptop. this item has surpassed my expectations, and comes with a year of office 365 is an added bonus, has everything i need to fill out all the documents and spreadsheets. so happy i chose this one!!
Está súper bien trae window y antivirus solo que se llena muy rápido la memoria el color es súper bonito no tan brilloso
good quality fast and holds a good charge bought this as a gift to my self and it is exactly as described good value for the price and fast and easy shipping
I'm very happy with this purchase, this PC is as practical as beautiful and I really enjoy using it Thank you very much 🙂
I bought two of these laptops back in 2021 and one of them just stopped working a couple of months ago out of nowhere and I wasn’t even using it. There is an error message ever since I opened it that says “Boot Device Not Found. Please install an operating system on your hard disk”. The laptop was already slow to begin with which is why I barely used it. If I had known I never would have purchased them. What a waste of money.
I love the dusty rose/ pink colour for the laptop, and overall I am very happy with my purchase especially since I got such a great price, and it came with one year Microsoft 365 to test out!My only negative feedback is that I do find it slow and lags a bit, but it’s not an expensive laptop and the processor is slower, so it’s to be expected. Still in hindsight I wish I’d spent a bit more money and purchased a faster product.

Perfect computer for light workloads. I bought this laptop as a replacement for my old Toshiba laptop from 2012. The Toshiba one was starting to show its age by failing to pass POST and thus failing to boot. I had used it almost every single day since 2012 after all, as it was my college laptop and even helped me launch my career as an engineer, so it has served me well. But the OS failures were getting troublesome. They were happening increasingly often, so I decided before all my data was lost (which wasn't really that much, since I keep all my actually important data on a home file server), I decided to shop around for a nice, reliable, not-too-cheap laptop I could use to replace it, and this is the one I chose to buy.For the non-Linux enthusiasts, feel free to skip this paragraph, but a kernel panic is basically the Windows blue screen of death equivalent on Linux. My old Toshiba was having kernel panics all the time starting with Kernel 5, so I thought maybe it was my old hardware which has having trouble with the brand new kernel. I tried an LTS version of Kernel 4.19, thinking it was going to solve my kernel panic issue, but nope. I still had kernel panics all the time, and it was starting to get worrying how often it was happening (multiple times a day near the time I got this new Acer laptop). So I feel like I got the new Acer laptop just in time before the Toshiba hardware became unbootable. Now, I'm an electrical engineer, but I'm a lazy engineer. I didn't feel like dissecting the Toshiba to try and pinpoint what the problem might have been. I use Arch btw (best meme 2k19)So back to regular English. I'm thoroughly impressed with the hardware that AMD has developed with their Ryzen lineup and their Vega graphics. Sadly, with all the cryptocurrency mining happening nowadays, it's actually hard to find any AMD graphics card for use with actual graphics workloads like gaming. But that's beside the point. This Acer laptop, with its Ryzen 3 processor and built-in Vega Picasso graphics is almost overkill for what I use it for. I haven't tested any games on it, but I imagine it would run Minecraft well enough. Maybe not 60fps, but still enough to play. I use this laptop mainly for just web browsing, and occasional coding when I'm feeling ambitious with some sort of personal software project I want to work on.In the time that I used Windows 10 S Mode... it was just plain dumb. Not being able to install software from non-Microsoft sources? Really, Microsoft? What are you doing? You can easily opt out of the S Mode crap, but it warns you that you'll never be able to go back to S Mode in the future if you ever change your mind. Like that'll scare me into keeping S Mode! I'll show you how much I care about S Mode. I only spent about a half hour tinkering with it before I just blasted the whole NVMe M.2 drive clean and installed good old Arch Linux on it with a fully encrypted filesystem, so ain't nobody getting into my data. And I can say, this NVMe M.2 drive is freaking lightning quick. Compared to the old HDD on my Toshiba, this new laptop boots in like 15 seconds, if even that. My main PC with Godly specs (Intel i9-9900K + RTX2080Super + 1TB Samsung NVMe M.2) boots in around 10 seconds, so this little laptop is definitely keeping up with the speed.Overall, this Acer laptop is a fantastic computer; probably the best laptop I've ever owned at this price point. It's perfect for basic usage, and I recommend it to be used for light workloads like checking email, browsing social media, editing office documents, coding, and other basic tasks of the sort. The Ryzen + Vega chip will definitely last several years, and I'm happy to finally support a quality AMD product. Ultimately, it's up to you as the customer to decide if this is the right computer for your needs. Evaluate why you need this computer and determine whether or not the price of this laptop would best suit your needs. I needed something I could rely on with streaming, decoding, and rendering video data from YouTube, Twitch, and/or Netflix which is actually a bigger task than people give it credit for. If you don't intend to watch many videos or do anything more resource-intensive than that, then this laptop might be a touch too powerful for your needs. With all that in mind, it's safe for me to say that this Acer laptop is perfect for the moderately light workloads I intend to use it for.
SUPER KEWL AND NICE. WHEN I OPENED THIS THING I WAS AMAZED!!!! I am currently out on vacation and did not take pictures of it BUT! I covered it in Care Bear stickers and it looks so cute. It is SUCH a nice laptop for school work... and ... if you're here because of why I bought it... YES! IT RUNS ROBLOX GREAT! I am also able to play multiple steam games on it! Very very nice 🙂 I love it so so much and it is so great for the price. I also got a pink keyboard cover, unfortunately it isn't back lit (I don't really care because everything else is so much better!) SO ITS PINK NOW! MY ADVICE IS TO BUY THIS THING! SO KEWL!
Pretty good. I have owned uncountable computes since I bought my fist Apple "pizza box" desktop computer in 1993. In our household, we use computers for work, internet access, email, photo and word processing, and (particularly for me) musical notation and audio playback. No games, nothing requiring huge amounts of processing power. But still, this laptop is a quantum improvement over anything--desktop or laptop--I have ever used.I bought one of these for my wife when she retired and needed her own (rather than the office-provided) computer. I chose this Aspire mainly because it was cheap; but I have been impressed by its performance. So much so, in fact, that I bought another for myself. The first thing I noticed is how beautiful the display looks. I used to think my camera took crappy pictures. Now I know it takes great pictures--it just needs a good computer display to see them at their best. The second great thing is the speed with which this boots up. This laptop is ready to go in well under half a minute. And it loads and runs programs fast too.S-mode would never work for us: too many non-Microsoft proprietary programs that I need to mount--much of it open-source free-ware like Mozilla, Open Office, etc; but I also need many music creation and notation programs, like Finale and Band-In-A-Box However, it was quite easy to take the computer out of S-mode, and I don't know why some reviewers found that modification hard.I had to buy an external CD drive, as I still need that tech for several continuing projects. But that did not add much to the cost, and I think not having a CD drive on a laptop is pretty much the norm now, anyway. There is room for added RAM and a second internal hard drive--which I bought, but have not felt the need to install yet after 6 months of use.My wife's computer has worked flawlessly for the last 9 months. Bu mine has a couple of glitches, which made me reduce the rating from 5 to 4 stars.Periodically, I get an error message that my USB device (and what peripheral is not USB these days?) is not recognized. Since I have all my USB devices on a single outlet multiplier, I can simply switch to one of the other laptop ports (there are 3), and that solves the problem, for a while. When the message comes up again, I switch ports again. So far, so good...A second annoyance is that the audio output jack is iffy and needs wiggling from time to time to perform properly.I don't think any computer I have owned has lasted longer than 5 years or so--usually slowly degrading until finally needing professional restoration of my data. I suspect this Acer will last no longer and maybe not nearly as long. But at the price, we will be quite happy to get two or three years out of these machines.
Works great for everyday use, fast and reliable.Have to get rid of s-mode before you can load more browsers and programs..Easy to get rid of s-mode...Very easy to use windows 11....
Arrived on time. Computer takes a few minutes to set up, but they all do. Works find & is fast. Only thing & this is my fault for not doing enough research, it has a 15" screen which for me is a little small. I would have no problem buying this brand again just I would look for a larger screen. Nice computer!
working well
👍🏻The device is great

Good for what I needed. Needed a computer for genealogy. Works good for the price. A little slow but nothing awful to deal with.
Wifes review. love how light it is, the keyboard looks kind of cheap but feels so comfortable on my hands. I also like that the screen is clear and easy to read. use it for summitting hours for work and it does its job just right.
You get your moneys worth. It’s a computer for $100 give or take. You really can expect only so much out of it. It does the trick. Only issue to me its that it’s a pain in the butt do download google chrome on it, which, I wouldn’t care about using necessarily however apparently a lot of programs online only work with chrome. Not a dealbreaker though. It’s a little slow but she gets the job done. If you want a computer to blow you away with how great it is, spend some more money and get a better one. BUT if you need a nice little laptop to get the essentials done, this will do the trick. But if you’re going to get all nitpicky then invest some more cash in a different computer.
Does exactly what I would expect. It's not an amazing laptop, but for $200 what are you expecting? Runs web great, has a long battery life.
This was a great buy. The laptop is a very attractive white color and is light as was described. It arrived on the exact date as was mentioned. The laptop is easy to use and very much portable. This is a very decent laptop for the price and brand. I would recommend buying it.
Slow. It's a bit slow to open the applications and to turn on
Works great. I got it for schooling & im definitely impressed. For a $200 laptop, it definitely does the job & looks good doing it. I got white, loveee it.
HP 14 Laptop: Great for a notebook under $200, But Keep RAM Limitations in Mind. The HP 14 is a great choice for those looking for a basic laptop under $200, but it’s not for gamers, designers, or anyone who does more than the basics on their computer. Most surprisingly, it’s even decent for streaming video and for cord cutters who can take advantage of the HDMI port to connect to a larger display. The basics: It comes with Windows 11 Home in S mode, but you can easily switch out of S mode if you need to install additional programs not found on the Microsoft store. I turned it off with 4 minutes of use, so that’s a breeze. And of course, this laptop features a 14-inch 1920 x 1080 display, an Intel Celeron N4020 processor, and 4GB of RAM.**Here are some of the highlights of the HP 14:*** **Great for basic tasks:** The HP 14 can handle basic tasks such as browsing the web, checking email, and using productivity software, but with only 4GB of RAM, I experienced some slowdowns when I had many tabs open in my browser or was running multiple programs at once.* **Long battery life:** The laptop can last up to 6.5 hours on a single charge. I was definitely impressed!* **Comfortable keyboard:** The keyboard is bouncy with a generous click and plenty of room for typing.if you like firmer keyboards, this one may not be your jam.* **SD card slot:** The HP 14 includes an SD card slot, which is a rarity for laptops in this price range.perfect for me,because my trail cam’s card can be emptied daily with ease!* **HDMI port:** as mentioned, this is great for cord cutters who want to connect to a larger display or projector. My last cheap laptop was twice the price of this one and didn’t have an hdmi or a card reader.**Here are some things to keep in mind:*** **Small touchpad:** The touchpad is small and can be difficult to use.* **Dim screen:** The screen is a bit dim and I found it impossible to use outside no matter how I adjusted the display settings.* **Low storage:** 64GB of storage may not be enough for some users.* **Limited RAM:** 4GB of RAM limits multitasking capabilities.I don’t know yet if those last two items are upgradable, but I’ll check into it if things get bogged down over the next few weeks!**Overall, the HP 14 is a great laptop for students, casual users, and anyone looking for a basic laptop under $200, especially if you don't plan on running multiple programs at once. However, if you need a laptop for more demanding tasks, you may want to consider a model with more RAM.**

The media could not be loaded. Está linda la compu pero no tiene Chrome. Y no tiene para conexión de cable para conectarla en modem solo wifi. Y no tiene todas las aplicaciones necesarias

Computer stop operating correctly. Got it as a gift but the computer isn’t bad looks nice, good price but at start up it was strange way. Now it won’t let me recover the computer to the original settings since it tells me computer files are corrupted. I just start using the computer. A bit ago. Now I can’t delete my information nor data from the computer it kept on telling me WOF driver encounter a corruption in the compressed file’s. But not sble to delete my data from the computer worries me.
High performance laptop. I needed a laptop for my own use before and found this KUU laptop on Amazon above. It's a great price, has a lot of memory space, runs well, is easy to use, and does the daily tasks we need, as well as storing files. I love using this computer so much that I bought this laptop for my husband as well. I bought him the same model that I purchased for myself and it has lived up to my expectations of it.
Slow. Slow for a gaming computer. Sometimes it won’t even load the Sims. Frequently has to be restarted because the WiFi settings just disappear altogether and I can’t connect. Currently frozen on the on the load screen.
Great -very useful. So far so good, I was skeptical at first because I had not heard of this computer. I have only had it for a little bit but surprisingly I'm very happy with it. I use this computer to run a small business from home with it and i gets the job done very well .
Performing very well. This laptop is well built and has nice features. It seems very durable and the battery lasts a long time. Setup was the easiest I've had on any computer. Nice bright display and great backlighting on the keyboard. I’m using it mostly for casual use on the couch here at home. It's super-fast for web browsing and video streaming, and it's 1TB SSD store a lot of stuff on it.Overall, It performs well and meets my daily expectation.
very nice computer. It's nice when I'm doing work and I don't have to set up my big laptop to do it.
Good value on money and runs well. This is my first KUU laptop purchase. So far it runs well and the battery life is as long as advertised. I bought this laptop for personal use. The computer screen size is 15.6 and is comfortable to view and use. The price is very affordable and the item is in perfect condition, better than I expected. It was a pleasure to purchase from this store and everything has been very easy and smooth so far. The product is exactly what I needed and if you plan on using it for school or doing simple office work, it's no problem.

Excellent price and good product. Long battery life, excellent screen size, speed and capabilities ….even having been an “apple only” user for years! I don’t think you can find a better laptop for the price.
Great value, great laptop. I needed a laptop upgrade, and this one fit the bill perfectly for me ! Easy set-up, decent battery life, ultra-long power cord, separate number keys, decent price (under 500 on a black Friday deal). I don't see how you can go wrong with this laptop. It's not a touch screen, but I knew that going in. Great value for the price !
Value for $ & solid. This is a solid laptop for the price. It's fast and has adequate battery life. Definitely delivered as a laptop for doing school work and streaming videos. The setup was easy and straightforward. I opted to buy Microsoft as offered for $100 per year because my Microsoft and Amazon emails aren't the same. It looks sleek and thin and connecting to wifi and Bluetooth is a breeze. The cons: the mouse pad lags some times when using excel but nothing that the arrow buttons won't fix. Also I found having to click fn before using any f buttons ( like f4 to lock cells or f2 to change file names) is a little annoying.
Very nice laptop. A great laptop that is fast and has a nice display. It also has a good sized 1 T solid state drive. I purchased it to replace a HP Pavilion that I used for many years that was beginning to show its age. I think it is a very good laptop, especially at this price. I have not been disappointed.
Missing vital parts. I had to return this after I got it all set up! I’m not happy camper. It’s me missing an ethernet port the SD card port, and the USB-C port only does data transfer. You can’t hook an external monitor to it. I combed through all the reviews and I should’ve paid attention. This would’ve been a nice computer to use, but I really need that USB port to hook up to a monitor. Who does that? Oh, and there’s only one USB-C port and an HDMI Port, there’s not 5 ports as advertised. If none of this is important to you, then this is your computer for you!The company selling this product should be updating their Product information because I was warned from the reviews. Nothing was ever mentioned about the USB-C port not supporting an external monitor so I could probably live with not having the other two pieces, but they were going to be important.
Great performance for the price. Love this laptop, I use it for coursework and light gaming when I don't feel like sitting at my desktop PC. It's fast for what it is, works like a charm, and it can handle multiple tasks pretty well. Lightweight and doesn't overheat even after hours of use, charged up quickly too! Only complaint is the display is a bit washed out but other than that it's wonderful!
Great laptop. Keyboard alignment off a bit. Everything I was looking for. Easy setup, great size for me and light weight. My only complaint is that the alpha section of the keyboard and touchpad have a little bit of an awkward alignment that makes my right hand sit on top of the touchpad a bit too much. I'll adjust with more time.
Works Great. Nice speed. Easy to transfer files from old computer that just could not keep up. Not hard to use. Screen is clear and easy to navigate.

Great value, love the simplistic design. Very simple and functional yet it has all of the essentials without any of the gimmicky frills. Maybe it takes a $300 laptop so I don't have to deal with built in Alexa-enabled something, HP-specific ports, fingerprint scanner, and other stuff I don't want or need. They don't try anything fancy with this one which for me is a positive. Plus it's TKL keyboard which really should be the new norm. Does not have a backlit keyboard which is a slight miss but for the price it's not a huge deal. You can take it out of S-mode easily and remove a lot of the addons and you have yourself a perfectly functional Windows machine. Despite the lower-tier hardware it still starts up very quickly if you make sure you don't have too much bloatware. Sure it's a little slow at times but if you're using it for day to day tasks it should be fine. Battery life seems very good, the laptop is also fairly lightweight as well. What more could you ask for at this price point.
Great perchis light weight long lasting battery. This computer is well worth this money it's lightweight long battery time the white looks nice against the Philadelphia eagles stuff holds a lot of information and I'm able to use a dope and WordPress all together very good purchase
Works but has issues. UPDATE: I have had this for less than 3 months and the battery no longer holds a charge. It has to remain plugged in at all times, and finding information to replace the battery has been difficult. Not all the keys register being pressed, causing endless spelling and grammatical issues. As time goes on this problem gets worse. The shift key locks on at random times as do random F keys. The mouse pad keeps getting stick and will not register clicks or randomly registers extra clicks.Half the troubleshooting abilities are being removed, and locating various places has become a scavenger hunt.It consistently has memory problems, despite the fact I save nothing to the actual computer. So much so it has no memory to watch streaming shows, to open any folder or to save anything.During this review I have had to deal with every problem above. If you want a basic laptop that you don't mind correcting and leaving as a desktop, this is fine. Not recommended for writing, watching videos, web searching, emailing, anything in works. Very basic in what it can do and you will be constantly adjusting what you do, including rewriting everything you write and reloading the same page over and over.Highly disappointed in this. I needed a simple computer to write on, and this has been more frustrating than useful. Not worth the money and effort.
locked into MS S mode, be careful of the bait-n-switch. 5/31/2024Update: Revised review to 4 stars from 1. If you're lured to these by an Amazon flash offer, and begin to compare other options/offers, be sure to throughly compare the descriptions. Or you'll purchase something you didn't want. If you find this out after you set everything up and there is no problem with the computer itself, you're stuck with it. The other issue I had was the inability to exit Win 11 S mode. After hours of trying the standard method and several youtube videos with complex work arounds, I gave up. Today I decided to express my feelings in the MS Edge search window and I received this response from Copilot. (posted in the picture above). I post because subsequent requests produced different results. This work around worked quickly and was a three step fix. Have exited S mode and am happily running Google Chrome. Plus all my Google info and files from my broken laptop ported over. One last note: this is definitely a computer for students. It is priced reasonably considering post Covid greedflation prices. It is comparetively slow and not for use use for gamers. I will keep it as I need a computer for research and writing papers.5/30/2024-My laptop broke. Needed to complete paperwork for a project with tight time lured by "Deal" for laptop with 4GB ram 64 storage Bluetooth, Wi-Fi. $169, 12hr delivery. I figure it was good enough to get my work done. At the site several other options were available with the same features and more memory. All had delivery dates of 1=2 days except 1 with 8GB ram, 192GB storage for $259 w/ $40 coupon, Thought extra memory and storage was worth extra $90. Computer arrived. It took an 1-1/2 hr to do updates. When I tried to download Chrome to work in Google docs {state recommended for changes}. This computer is locked into MS S mode blocking download of apps not in MS store. After spending 2hrs trying different S mode exit directions is was resolved to doing the work on my Samsung S20 which took 3 hours to do 1 hr of work. This computer doesn't have Bluetooth, is extremely slow. MS locks y into using Edge in a worse case scenario than they did with Explorer 25 yrs ago. Don't be lured by the free1yr of Home 365. Cannot return because I used it and is technically not broken. HP is obviously returning to the days of cheap low-grade Compaq. Clearest example of Greedflation. It also moved data from broken laptop creating what will be hours of scrubbing to sell at 1/2 price on Ebay.
Nice Little Laptop. As a teacher, I was in need of an updated computer with Windows 11 and Office 365. I’m impressed with the ease of setup. Everything transferred over from my old computer. Pleased with the speed and quality of this HP laptop. Nice price as well.
Works. Nothing fancy. Not supposed to be. Looks nice. Nothing fancy but works for internet surfing and word processing just fine.Make sure you take it out of s mode.Pretty good deal. Came With extra storage card since its got small Storage capacity.Holds a charge. As long as it lasts a coupleYears or so, im happy with it.I needed a basic spare computer.Would recommend. For basic light computer.

Pretty Good. Definitely a slower processor, but is good for the price. Great for students, and if you want to make some room maybe for a basic game or more RAM just remember they preinstall A LOT of apps. Just go to the list in settings and remove which ones you won’t use. Great Performance for needs, I love the compact size, durability I mean it is a laptop so a few drops are okay but still be careful. Good comfort level. Fits in my lap easy and light. Only issue for me is fingerprints show EVERYWHERE. Even if your hands are clean just the oil from your skin. Easy to wipe off it is just a pet peeve of mine
Great computer. This is my second time buying this computer. I dropped the first one on its head and broke it in half. It was my fault and not an issue with the computer itself. If you drop it from a table height when it is open, it WILL Break. I went looking for a new one and found this one at a great price. The pink caught my eye and is pretty in person. Great size and weight for taking to work. A few things to note: in certain light, the keys are hard to see. I solved this by adding a silicone key cover and it worked beautifully. Secondly, computer this does not come with a SD card slot. I didn't know that when I bought it (again my fault) it was an easy solve and definitely cheaper than my broken that came with a SD card slot.
Great buy for me. I purchased this laptop to at least have my own work from home computer just incase I needed it. It’s a great computer to start with. No problems with it what so ever! For me it works perfectly fine. Really nice pink color, no issues at all. Everything turned out just right especially after being hesitant to buy it due to the reviews. But I love my laptop so far. Good size too. Only thing I wish, that it had a light up keyboard, but that’s not a deal breaker for me. I can always upgrade. That’s why I’m giving 4 stars.
Do not buy the pink version. High contrast is an element that's important for working efficiently on your computer while not straining to see. The best contrast on your keyboard is a black background on the keys, with white characters, or arguably, vice-versa. With high contrast, we easily see the keys we need and can work painlessly.I bought this computer in the pink color as that was the only one available for next-day shipping. I'd never owned a computer in anything but black/white/gray, so it didn't even occur to me that the contrast could be a problem with this model. Surely you can trust the computer companies to take care of things like this, right? It's such a simple thing, and so easy and cheap to take care of. Make the characters darker, or the keys lighter, or to be sure, do both!Wrong. This pink nightmare is as low-contrast as you get. Mauve keys are matched with gray letters, numbers, and symbols. When you sit up straight to type, the right side of the keyboard virtually vanishes. It's almost impossible to type when the keys seem blank. If you stick your face right above the keys, and sit hunched over, it's fine - you can see all the keys. That's not a good way to type! After chatting at length with hp, it came down to it's my problem and I'll have to buy a new skin for the keyboard. Anyone with one brain cell would be able to see the problems with this keyboard, but instead of fixing it, they shove the problem off onto consumers who were foolish enough to buy an HP product. Great customer service, HP!I bought this computer as a temporary laptop to use as my other computer is dying. I need something to use while I research what to get for my next, more powerful, computer. HP could have gained a new, loyal customer. Instead they've lost me for life over a cheap, poorly-designed laptop.I was going to leave all my typos in so you could see how hard it is to type blind. But I figured Amazon wouldn't publish something almost unreadable. Please don't buy this computer. Bye-bye HP.
Simple Laptop. I just needed a small laptop to cast videos from it to the TV. Works well, even though I do not use it for much besides videos. Good quality in the screen, vids are clear. Haven't noticed it really get hot either. I purchased the white one, added a case and keyboard cover so it looks pretty
HP. Fantastic laptop for the price. User friendly and fast processor for everyday needs.
Update is slow computer is fine. Made the purchase to learn coding and start online college and based off plugging it in and sitting at the library my experience is that is will be entirely too slow to be able to handle anything I need it to. For something refurbished it is of excellent quality not a single scratch on the device all the keys work. I sure hope this thing isn’t a dud like all the other one star reviews say that this thing crashes and burns after 9 m to 1 year. If so this computer shouldn’t even be marketed. Downloaded python app fairly easily so I have high hopes.
Gets the job done. Speakers don’t work. And didn’t come with the Microsoft subscription as advertised in the description. But it powers on and only has a 57gb c drive which 24 was instantly used on boot up.
Excellent comme outil de travail au bureau.
Me encantó, muy bonita, práctica y moderna. Además llegó antes de lo que esperaba, estoy muy contenta. Gracias.

Great product for college. My daughter has been extremely happy with the battery life, screen clarity, performance, and value of this computer!
Decent computer for a great price. I wish it was backlit. It is a funky keyboard, but overall, it is a very good computer for the price. It is light and the computer functions as advertised. It is missing the little things, and I did not realize half the storage was on a memory stick but that was my fault. I use it mainly for writing and listening to music online. It has decent sound. Overall, I am happy wih my purchase so far.
Great. Hp have a great name very good laptop take me a while to get use to a laptop. I've been so use to working off my phone. But it's a great laptop would buy it again
Defective Laptop. Worst experience ever buying a product! I bought a laptop I needed for school/work. It ended up being defective. Not only did it take weeks to get a return label from them, when they got the product back, they only gave me a partial refund. They are charging me a restocking fee of $166!!!! The laptop went pixelated and black when I had it. Wouldn't charge. They are saying the laptop is fine and they need their instruction booklet back and original packing materials! Any excuse to not give me MY money back. I am not rich and need my refund, so I can purchase a working laptop for school and work. I never write reviews but this has been such a ridiculous experience I needed to. Hopefully my reviee saved someone from going through all this trouble!
Great laptop at a low price. This laptop is a great low-price machine for general use. I haven’t done anything extremely resource heavy with it, but it runs some decently heavy duty stuff with ease. The only thing I don’t like about it is the small hard drive, but that really isn’t a product issue - it’s just the product. For general use it’s great, but I would recommend going bigger if you need to have a lot of larger applications.
The color red gives it a wow factor.. I.love it. The moment I saw this laptop, I knew this was what I had been looking for. I love red. It was an extra bonus to know I could have a laptop, with great review and great quality. I was all in. I am not experienced with using a laptop, so I am learning as I go. I always wanted my own, so God made provision for me to get one as a gift from my sister. I am delighted. I work in an office setting and deal with computers all day, but having a personal device at home, is different. Luckily, my sister guided me all the way with the set up. After the set up, I was good to go. I am thankful to receive this gift and even more excited that it is of great quality, and it has giving me great service. I would highly recommend this laptop. When it arrived, I was all smiles. Looking forward in receiving great usage from this one device.

User reviews
Solid Laptop for Most Computer Users. My seven year old HP Envy laptop has been making some strange noises and doing some other things that make me think it might be on it's way out. So, I set off looking for a new laptop to take it's placeI have been using a 15.6 inch laptop for many years, and tried out a couple of 14 inch units, but they were too small for my liking. My current computer was also a 2 in 1 touch screen that could be used as a tablet, but in seven years I had never used it in the tablet configuration and probably only used the touch screen for a hundred touches or so in that time frame.I finally decided I did not want a smaller unit than 15.6 inches and that having a touch screen was useless for my situation. After looking at hundreds of computers I settled on the Nimo 15.6 with 1TB SSD and 16MB ram. I read some reviews, thought the startup company was kind of cool, and loved the Nimo fish lighted logo on the front of the computer. Here's the things I love about the computer.1. Packed well and shipped fast2. Lighted keyboard, which was an essential feature for me3. Great feel to the keyboard. Quiet and types solidly.4. Choice of colors. I chose the Space Grey and it's nice looking.5. USB C power source6. Windows 11 Home preinstalled7. Very little bloatware8. Beautiful anti glare screen with full HDIs this the fastest computer I tested? Nope, but it didn't cost $700.00 either. I thought the Amazon price of $299.00 was an absolute steal for this computer. Best value laptop I have purchased so far, and this is laptop #4 for me.I can't attest to the durability of the Nimo computer, but they have a two year warranty (best in the industry that I could tell) and I am hoping to not have to use it.So -- if you need a basic, quick, non-touchscreen laptop at 15.6 inches I feel this is the best bargain on the block.
Incredibly Versatile And Nimble. Things I liked:1. Keys are really smooth to type with.2. Comes with keyboard lit keys which is outstandingly useful especially since I tend to work at night.3. Keyboard design is interesting, nonetheless unique.4. Tested it out with high-performance required software like Zoom, and worked perfectly fine with no stuttering.5. Incredibly lightweight and easy to carry around.6. Tested it out with a game like NFS MW (2012) and it worked perfectly fine with minor stuttering and decent graphics.7. The fingerprint scanner is one of a kind and incredibly beneficiary both security wise and feature wise for a laptop valued at under $500!8. The speakers are loud enough for someone to hear you from a bedroom across the hall, super amazed!9. Came with a great warranty to which I feel I won't be thinking of frequently considering how well Nimo constructed the design and UI of this laptop!10. Battery life is long-lasting, (this may vary on the number of tabs or software you're using).11. There's definitely more things to like about this piece of technology but as for now this is all I can think of.And if you're wondering about the things I didn't like well... there's really nothing not to like about this laptop... If you come here hoping for a laptop that can type for itself and read your mind then you're probably at the wrong spot but if you're here for a reliable and modernly advanced piece of technology that can accompany you with any task then, you're at the right spot.I bought the 512 GB version and overall, this is an amazing laptop that can be beneficiary with just about anything from attending zoom calls to handling business software to handling high-output coding software to which I sincerely feel, is a recommended buy!
Nice Entry Laptop. Despite a few initial glitches that included Windows activation errors and then Windows errors on a machine that had to be returned, I am satisfied with the replacement.Support issues are handled using a form submission from the NIMO website. The responses are anything but polished, but they were quick during their weekday business hours. On the first machine I needed to ask twice before a valid code was sent. Then I was getting thrown some blue screen errors I couldn’t put down and I bailed on that machine and an exchange was quickly authorized. A tracking code was sent to me, but it was wrong and took another request to get the right one. Again, quick responses, but not at all polished. The replacement is a nice entry laptop. Its four core intel processor is pretty fast, and the 1T SSD Drive also helps keep things moving along. The hardware itself to include the backlit keyboard appears high quality and is attractive. I like this machine and NIMO’s USA footprint. In the long run, my concern may be battery replacement as one would have to take it apart with a screwdriver to get to the battery. Not a problem today, and likely not a problem soon. I will say that the battery charges quickly (!) and the lifespan on a charge has been about 5-6 hours or so.The speaker quality is acceptable, no great shakes. Anything lacking in this machine is made up for in a low price as a nice entry laptop making it a good buy for a student or for home office use.
