I was attracted to this over the others because it has really good timings and latency when used PnP without the need for setting up XMP, which my laptop doesn't support. The hardware readings show it's working as expected.

It's Kingston "dual rank" 64GB DDR5 5600mhz ram (CAS LATENCY 40-40-40-84 @ 5600mhz) because single 32GB DDR5 sticks are all dual rank, and anything lower (16GB/24GB) is single rank. A 13th and 14th gen intel chip can accommodate 32GB (2x16GB) single rank @5600MHz, and 64GB (2x32GB) dual rank WILL CLOCK DOWN to 5200mhz, but the CAS latency also drops to 38-37-37-73 CAS Latency timings. I'm getting my specs from Kingston website for stock settings, and HW64info.exe on my PC right now showing me my settings. My Sager 13900HX-RTX 4090 laptop did this automatically without me having to go into the BIOS after installing. Upon booting it will read 64 GB dual rank and clock down to 5200mhz with better latency about 20-30 seconds longer than an normal boot time when identifying the new ram. If you want 5600mhz speed you must stick to 32GB (2x16). I can tell a difference gaming at 4k by 3-7 fps depending on the game versus the stock crucial 4800MHz CAS latency 46 memory that came with my laptop. Having 64 GB ram keeps my system from crashing when playing heavily modded lists like "Nolvus" Skyrim which regularly uses 35-37GB just for the game(42-43gb total with windows) while my RTX 4090 uses about 14.5-15GB VRAM. I can tell a difference when transferring large files and downloading large files with 64GB. It will Cache much more RAM doing these things. My paging file only "needs" to be 2gb according to windows when I use 64gb ram, but I still keep it at 10GB on my storage SSD. I think 64 GB is worth it if you game and do multi-core stuff with large file transfers and heavy decompression zip files et cetera. It is a worthy upgrade. I paid $220 for this about 2 years ago, and now it's only $169.99, and it is totally worth it.

On Idle memory jumps between frequencies (see pictures), must be common for energy saving feature. I bought the pc with 16gb and before first turn on, I changed to 64gb. It prompts the message "memory has changed" and click continue for normal start-up. Bios version 1.9.0 from factory.

(I guess the change is detected, then it does some initial checking to see what and how much is there compared to before). After you see the Dell logo, you can go into the BIOS, or diagnostics and check it out or test it to see if it is all good. Mine tested 100% perfect! Windows 11 pro also saw it all and uses it. This is a "mini" PC (only about 10 X 10 inches) so only 2 memory memory slots.PC seemed to run OK with 8GB (max possible was 16GB) but Google seemed to often not load a new internet screen without using "Reload" from a drop-down menu. Online search suggested that problem may be insufficient ram. So, I figured that more ram at least couldn't hurt.There seem to be many different suppliers to choose from at many prices. I wanted to replace the 2 4GB modules with 2 8GB modules (16GB total). Perhaps a single 16 GB module would have worked but I didn't want to add any more unknowns than necessary so I wanted 2 8GB modules.In the HP, the ram modules are readily accessible and easily removed and replaced. Not swapping ram in and out much anymore, the module configuration specification numbers were to some extent undecipherable to me. So, I looked for replacements that had most if not all of the same specifications. Furthermore, it was not exactly clear if the offer (price) was for one or two modules. THESE modules had the exact numbers plus said "kit" so I knew I was getting 2 modules.Installation was literally a 1 minute job! Of course, be careful and concerned about physical damage and ESD damage. I took a number of photos before replacement including photos of the various external cable connections. I further cloned the internal SSD drive to an external drive that I regularly use for weekly clones.At startup after upgrading, the BIOS recognized that the ram configuration had changed and showed "press F1" to do something. In the "old" days, you HAD to go into the BIOS and agree or set the new size. Here, I just pressed any key without getting into the BIOS and the PC successfully booted into W10. I could visually see that speed of had increased. Next, had to verify that everything was working.Everything except my USB sound speakers was working fine. I didn't see how the memory upgrade could possibly affect sound. Online suggested to "reload" the sound driver. I did and this fixed it. Haven't seem the Google "reload" requirement.In summary, easy, safe upgrade for me and good price and quality - they work!

I bought this ram for my Razer Blade 15 (Base 2021) RZ 09-0369x, the original ram was (according to many sites including the official razer website): 2933MHz. However, when in task manager and also when I had removed the original ram, it said 3200MHz. After installing the new Kingston ram, I checked both command prompt and task manager. They said 2933MHz, according to other reviews and the amazon page for this item, it was supposed to be 3200MHz even without overclocking. I checked the actual ram sticks, and they say 2933MHz. This item is well priced for what you get, however the page is misleading. For the 32gb (Pack of 2 16GB) it says 3200MHz, when in reality you get 2933MHz. It is still mostly the same and with the price it is still worth it, but I am somewhat confused as to why the amazon page for this item is incorrect. In the end though, the installation was easy, and the product worked well. My laptop now uses less than half as much memory and this was quite helpful, as I enjoy playing the game BeamNG.Drive, which is not only graphics and CPU intensive, but also requires lots of memory for using things like AI vehicles. In addition, I use this computer for other work and often have many tabs open, and I don't like having to close tabs to get my laptop to run faster. Now it is much faster. In addition, the latency (CL) is very low without overclocking, making this ram even better for the price. This would be 5 stars except for the fact that the amazon page is either inaccurate or misleading about the ram speed.
